Postmodernism

Postmodernism refers to a form of contemporary culture. It is a style of thought which is suspicious of classical notions of truth, reason, identity and objectivity. Postmodernism sees the world as ungrounded, diverse and unstable. It breeds a degree of skepticism about the objectivity of truth, history and norms. In Postmodernism everything is possible; everything counts as an art and every crazy thought can be justified simply because there is no one truth to measure the thought’s credibility against it. Postmodernism goes with the slogan “So bad it’s good.”
